Science Is Murder 1 2009

On December 17, 2009 the Washington Academy of Sciences, in conjunction with Sisters in Crime and Mystery Loves Company, sponsored a panel of prominent mystery writers to discuss how they used science in their work. In order to keep a record of the event, we turned to one of our Affiliated Societies, the Philosophical Society of Washington, for help. PhilSoc has an (almost) bi-weekly lecture series for which the recording secretary, Ron Hietala, takes and (at the subsequent meeting) reads meticulous minutes. He graciously consented to do the honors for SCIENCE IS MURDER. You can find out more about PhilSoc at http://www.philsoc.org/
