PBS continues to play its historic role as both a standard-bearer and innovator in children’s programming and content development. At present, more than 350 public television stations offer a minimum of 35 hours per week of free educational and informational offerings for kids. PBS is known for revolutionizing children’s programming and demonstrates time and again that television can educate while it entertains. PBS is re-imagining children’s television for the next generation with programs including SID THE SCIENCE KID for the pre-schoolers, CURIOUS GEORGE for elementary school, CYBERCHASE for middle schools, Design Squad for High School and NOVA for the whole world.
