Abstract:
The aging population faces significant health challenges, including cardiovascular, neurological, articular, cancer, and metabolic diseases. While lifestyle factors and environmental influences play crucial roles, digital revolutions offer transformative solutions. This presentation introduces the P9 medicine concept: personalized, predictive, preventive, participatory, pervasive, precise, privacy-preserving, protective, and priced reasonably. We present a framework that will leverage various digital revolutions, such as artificial intelligence, virtual/augmented reality, genomics, and the internet, for implementing the P9 concept. This paradigm shift in healthcare will transition us from a reactive to a proactive approach, focusing on prevention and well-being. This will result in a projected improvement in life expectancy and a reduction in health care costs.

First presented at the IEEE Evolution 2025 Conference – June 12, 2025
