Abstract:
This presentation explains many of the features of our calendar and how they were developed throughout human history. A number of popular questions are answered.

Dr. Sethanne Howard is an astronomer who worked at the Naval Observatory in Washington DC and now serves on the board of the Washington Academy of Sciences.
