Science Is Murder 1 2009

On December 17, 2009 the Washington Academy of Sciences, in conjunction with Sisters in Crime and Mystery Loves Company, sponsored a panel of prominent mystery writers to discuss how they used science in their work. In order to keep a record of the event, we turned to one of our Affiliated Societies, the Philosophical Society of Washington, for help. PhilSoc has an (almost) bi-weekly lecture series for which the recording secretary, Ron Hietala, takes and (at the subsequent meeting) reads meticulous minutes.

Minutes of the first Science is Murder discussion are here.
